Eminently Reasonable

I bill for my time in ten minute increments. For my professional mediation services (including reading, researching, abstracting, writing and facilitating, my hourly rate is $330 for two party matters and an additional $30 per hour for each additional true party in interest. For performing an arbitration, my hourly rate is $360 for two party matters and an additional $30 per hour for each additional true party in interest.

I charge $120 per hour for my travel and administrative time, and I pass on out-of-pocket expenses (common carrier travel, overnight accommodations, meals taken in conjunction with overnight stays, office expenses beyond routine mailing, copying, etc.) at actual cost.

Assuming availability, I can provide a neutral and private venue in Sterling, IL. For that amenity, I invoice at $50/room/day plus “set-up” time.

I also charge a file "set-up fee" of one-half hour at the case's calculated rate.

Cancellation Policy:

• For a cancellation after issuing my “Letter of Engagement,” but more than 60 days from a scheduled joint session, the fee is the file opening fee, any work I have done on the matter and any out-of-pocket costs already spent and not recoverable.

• For a cancellation occurring less than 60 days before the scheduled joint session, I bill the above amounts for a cancellation more than 60 days out plus a 3 hours at the applicable hourly rate.
